Our Story

In 2012, cousins Erin & Amanda volunteered with orphans in Kenya. They were touched by the happiness of the children despite their lack of basic needs. However, Erin and Amanda realized the orphans would struggle to reach their full potential in life simply because they were born into poverty. While in Kenya they created a Facebook event to raise money for the orphanage. Immediately, dedicated individuals began donating to make a difference. Once Erin and Amanda returned home they went through the process of starting Love in Neglected Communities, also known as Linc Worldwide. LINC has grown into an ambitious team made up of volunteers, companies, and ministries all committed to uplifting suffering youth throughout the world.

Our Mission

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to provide neglected communities with the support needed to alleviate hardships, promote well-being, and facilitate growth, giving them the chance to not only survive, but to truly live, love, and thrive.

Our Vision

We aim to provide communities with five core resources that meet the needs of basic survival and self-fulfillment – clean water, sustainable food sources, health & sanitation, education, safety & security.

Clean Water

Partner with companies and organizations to install accessible water purification systems for communities in need of clean water.

Food

Work alongside local farmers and international agriculturalists to help communities raise and sell produce or livestock; provide meals to children suffering from hunger, and identify and address sustainable food challenges in communities.

Health

Construct facilities with adequate space to prevent the spread of disease, ensure health and hygienic needs of children are met, subsidize the cost of important medical resources, and partner with organizations to educate communities to improve their health.

Education

Make education accessible and affordable to all children in the communities where we work.

Safety

Ensure the security of our projects and school environments through training and access to necessary materials that promote safety for the youth.

Our CORE Values

Integrity

We are dedicated to honesty and transparency with every community we serve, our supporters and team members. Our actions and projects are performed with the intent of achieving the highest standards and adhering to moral principles at all times.

Fueled By Faith

We respect all religions but use Catholic teachings to guide our company’s decisions. We promote a faith focused work environment and welcome opportunities to celebrate our faith with others.

Respect

Respect starts by understanding the culture, diversity, and strengths of every community we serve. We believe in showing respect to our donors, volunteers and employees, appreciating their uniqueness and how each one plays a vital role with Linc Worldwide.

Focused On Cultivating Lasting Relationships

We aim to create lasting, caring relationships between our donors, LINC team and the communities we serve. We believe in the importance of continued conversation among our LINC family in order to stay engaged, carry out our mission, and have a positive impact in the world.

Passionate and Dedicated Attitudes

Passionate and dedicated attitudes among our volunteers and Board of Directors are vital in carrying out our mission. We serve communities that are equally passionate and dedicated to working together on projects that will uplift their community. We look for spirited and committed individuals to support our work and promote our mission.

How Our Donations Are Used

Donations made during our 2020-2021 fiscal year were used for Fundraising, Management, and our Awasi school project expenses. Due to COVID, our construction was delayed and program expenses were down last year. However, we have kicked off 2022 with the next phase of construction.
